Pongamia oil is most prized and used for its antiseptic and insecticidal functions. It is also helpful in hair treatment, dark circle removal, foot cream, massage oil, and skin moisturizer.
Pongamia oil is extracted from the seeds by peeling, cold pressing, or solvent extraction. The oil is yellow-orange to brown in color. The oil is not suitable for consumption!
